MUSEUM OF CONTEMPORARY ART HPS-2

The complex of HPP-2 buildings is a monument of industrial architecture and an object of cultural heritage of regional significance. HPP-2 was built at the beginning of the 20th century as the Central Power Station of the Moscow city railways. The project was built by the architect Vasily Bashkirov.

In 2015, the V-A-C Foundation began to develop the space of HPP-2, when there was an exhibition of finalists of the public art contest "Expansion of space". At the same time, news appeared that the building of the hydroelectric power plant would be transformed into a new cultural space - the Museum of Modern Art, and the renovation of the bureau will be carried out by the Italian architect Renzo Piano.

The company Stroi Techno Engineering acts as a construction and installation company at this facility. In 2018 STI will begin installation of engineering systems of the building and finishing works.
